Library of HUTB Achieves Good Results in the Annual Academic Meeting of Libraries in Colleges and Universities of Hunan Province

Recently, the service innovation case submitted by the library of HUTB - New Mode of Reading Promotion in University Library Based on "Academy +" Service won the Excellent Innovation Case Award issued by Department of Education of Hunan Province in the commendation meeting of reading promotion activity "One University, One Book - Classics, Intensive and Imperishable" for colleges and universities in Hunan Province in 2021, and five students including Hu Jianling, Liao Min, Shi Kaige, Xiao Jiayi and Zhang Ning won the "Excellent Reading Experience Award".
The reading promotion activity "One University, One Book - Classics, Intensive and Imperishable" for colleges and universities in Hunan Province in 2021 was sponsored by Department of Education of Hunan Province, and included in the overall plan of reading activity "Scholarly Hunan" in 2021, aiming at thoroughly implementing Xi Jinping's socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era and the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, speeding up the construction of reading promotion service system for colleges and universities, creating a good reading atmosphere and developing quality education in colleges and universities.
The library attaches great importance to reading promotion. Reading promotion run through the whole year, with careful organization, well-planned deployment, collaboration of departments, division of labor and cooperation, and interaction between teachers and students. Relying on the academy, a series of reading promotion activities with various forms, rich connotations, characteristics and interest are held to attract readers into the library, which plays an active role in cultivating people by virtue and culture.
