23rd Student Basketball Game of HUTB Comes to a Successful Conclusion

For the purpose of enriching the extracurricular life, improving the comprehensive quality of college students and showing their positive mental outlook, HUTB held the 23rd Basketball Game in April. A total of 17 men's basketball teams and 12 women's basketball teams participated in this game. The participating players worked hard and encouraged each other on the field, showing their courage to go forward, as well as their team spirit and strong cohesion.
After 15 days of fierce competition, the men's basketball team of the School of Accounting won the men's championship and achieved four consecutive championships. Graduate School won the runner-up and School of Computer Science & Information Engineering won the third place. School of International Business, School of Law & Public Administration, School of Business Administration, School of Science and Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies won 4th to 8th places respectively. Xia Zhiqi, a student from the School of Accounting, won the title of "Best Player". The women's basketball team of the School of Business Administration won the women's championship and reached five consecutive championships, School of International Business won the runner-up, School of Economy & Trade won the third place, and School of Finance, School of Science, Beijin College, School of Computer Science & Information Engineering and School of Literature & Journalism won 4th to 8th places respectively. Li Yijian from the School of Business Administration won the title of "Best Player". After the competition, an award ceremony was held on the spot. (Reported by School of Sports and Health)
